Dreamcloud / Based on Real Dreams

As a writer, I can say I didn't have almost any influence on the scripts of this project. That is the beauty of our new Instagram experience for DreamCloud. When DreamCloud's Head of Brand asked us to think about a way to demonstrate the power of the brand, we at Creative Shop knew that this an opportunity to build something unique and different.

So how Dream Cloud could leverage their community on Instagram and Facebook in a new, interactive way? 'Based On Real Dreams' is a people-first idea that gives the brand's community a voice and amplifies their dreams to inspire others.

I dreamt I was on a rocket ship to outer space with my dog as a copilot. We passed solar systems, bright twinkling stars, and discovered a new solar systems. The next day, I bought the best telescope I could find to watch the starts from my roof.

I dreamt I was on safari with our two kids , but we were in the city, animals were everywhere – lions, tigers, giraffes, elephants – roaming around the buildings. We’ve always traveled a lot, but that totally inspired us to book our bucket list trip to KENYA!

I had a dream where I kept getting calls from Buckingham Palace about doing flowers for the next royal wedding – they were going to fly me to London to consult with the bride! That dream really got me obsessed the idea of my own floral events company, which I named Flourish – it’s really taken off!

Dreams inspire
action.

The strategy we came up with was that dreams inspire action. When you dream about things you care about after sleeping well – you wake up energized enough to realize these dreams. On Netflix's great documentary about Bob Dylan "Rolling Thunder Relive", he shares that he wrote 'One More Cup of Coffee' after dreaming about it at night.
